Hi, I’m Tanis! I am a personal trainer with a Bachelor of Physical Education in Physical Activity and Sport Performance. I have been strength training seriously and consistently for over eight years. During that time I have went through MANY transformations of my own.  

The first transformation I did all on my own by following the work of Martin Berkhan and his Lean Gains program for four months. The second one, I worked with Jason and Jen Ferruggia as a test subject for their Bikini Body Workouts program for four months. The third one, I worked with Jade Teta and his Metabolic Effect program for three months. The fourth one, I worked with Libby Wescombe and her Nutrition and Training program for three months. And for the fifth, final and lasting transformation, I worked with Precision Nutrition in their year long program. 
I started out skinny-fat, weak with no muscle and lifting super light weights. I've also carried 20 extra pounds of fat at one point. I’ve done all the cardio and tried all the programs in the fitness magazines. But now I know what it takes to get stronger, move easier and feel better sustainably. Whether you’re a beginner or have been cycling through results like me, I can help you achieve those things too...and looking better is just the icing on the cake.

What is Online Personal Training?

Online personal training is basically personal training from a distance. As your trainer, I still serve the same purpose but will be communicating and delivering everything digitally and/or over the phone. You will receive monthly programming and we will have weekly 20 minute phone call check-in‘s to see how you’re doing and make adjustments as necessary.

For those of you who: 
-live far away
-are too busy to meet in person
-require a very flexible schedule and not be tied up with appointments 
-want an inexpensive option to private personal training 
-like to work out at home 
-need accountability
-want a program but don't need a trainer present
-are motivated but just need some guidance
