Meet the Team
Tanis Parenteau - Writer/Producer/TerryTanis Parenteau was born and raised in Peace River, Alberta, Canada. She is a member of the Métis Nation of Alberta and is of Cree and Sioux descent. Tanis earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in New York City at the New School for Drama and is best known for playing 'Tammy' on the Emmy and Golden Globe winning Netflix original series "House of Cards". She has also starred in numerous productions at some of the most prestigious Off Broadway theatres in NYC such as The Public Theater, Signature Theater and 59E59.
Tanis also has a Bachelor of Physical Education degree, a passion for strength training and was born to deadlift. |
Alexandra Lazarowich - DirectorAlexandra Lazarowich is a Cree filmmaker who currently splits her time between Alberta and Brooklyn working on films about the issues impacting Aboriginal peoples from around the world. She explores in her work the effects of colonization on Aboriginal peoples and their culture.

Claude Bauschinger - CinematographyClaude Bauschinger is a photographer, cinematographer, Steadicam operator & director based in Brooklyn. Born and raised in California, Claude began studying photography, art, and music at an early age. Given his first camera by Rondal Partridge, famous photographer and son of Imogen Cunningham (who worked with Dorothea Lange & Ansel Adams), Claude set about capturing the world around him. Taking an interest in Steadicam operation, he studied with Garrett Brown (Rocky, The Shining), Jerry Holway & Chris Fawcett, subsequently becoming a member of the Steadicam Operators Association. Claude has lensed projects all over the world. Aside from working in narrative, Claude has a strong body of work in commercials, documentaries, and reality. Regardless of his role or the type of project, his goal is to create scenarios & images that will not only tell the story, but will affect the viewer on the deepest level.
He has recently worked with Lizz Winstead (co-creator of the Daily Show), Bill Sorvino, Tom Proctor & Tony Drazan. |
Shelley Molad - Assistant DirectorShelley Molad is a New York based actor, writer and filmmaker. Recent film credits include: Out of My Hand (Official Selection, 2015 Berlin International Film Festival) and Joy (Be the Shoe Productions). TV/Web credits include Brooklyn: For Real (www.brooklynreally.com) and the title character in Vex: Vampiress (currently filming). Shelley is a contributor to nytheaternow.com, an independent theater blog, and also works for the SAG Foundation, supporting their special events. Shelley received her MFA in Acting from the New School for Drama and attended the Moscow Art Theater School. www.shelleymolad.com

Greg Carere - Andrew
Greg Carere is a New York-based, Canadian-born actor and writer. Some of the work he's done on stage in New York includes The Downtown Loop (3LD), If You Can Get To Buffalo (Incubator Arts Project), Dead Special Crabs (Wide Eyed), The Grass is Greenest at the Houston Astrodome (NY Fringe), The Party Play (The Brick), King John (The New Ensemble Workshop). Soon, you'll be able to see him on screen in the feature films The Downtown Loop and A Lot Like Marriage and the webseries R + J. He holds an MFA from The New School for Drama.

Kawennahere Devery Jacobs - Jess
Kawennáhere Devery Jacobs was born and raised on the Mohawk reserve of Kahnawake, QC. She is a film and television actress, best known for her leading role as Aila in the award-winning feature film Rhymes for Young Ghouls, where she was nominated for Best Actress at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards. She has also been featured in numerous productions such as Exploding Sun, alongside Julia Ormond, Lionsgate Television's The Dead Zone, as well as APTN's Mohawk Girls. Currently, Jacobs is making her directorial debut with the short film, STOLEN.

Andreas Damm - Jess's Boyfriend
Andreas Damm is originally from South Africa and moved to the U.S. in 2005 to attend the University of Pennsylvania. He now lives in New York City, after completing his MFA at The New School for Drama. Film and TV highlights include Person of Interest (Recurring, CBS), Home is Where Your Heart Aches (Synecdoche), Yellow Heart (Selection for Cannes Short Film Corner); Box (Pacific Hudson Railroad); R & J: the web series (Ready Set Go Theatre Co.); What Would You Do?
